Breast Reconstruction Awareness Meetings at the Royal Women's Hospital
Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) meetings is one of the most impactful programs funded by Treasure Chest supporting over 250 patients a year. uniquely operating in Melbourne at The Royal Women's Hospital.
Designed to support women who are navigating a recent breast cancer diagnosis and considering breast reconstruction surgery, the BRA Program provides an opportunity for participants to engage with women who have already undergone the procedure.
These volunteers have had the surgery and lived the experience, offer peer support and trusted insight.
Treasure Chest Charity is proud to support these informative sessions, ensuring that women have access to a safe and supportive environment where they can share experiences and build confidence when exploring breast reconstruction options.
Your participation and donations will ensure the continuity of this valuable program and possible expansion into other hospitals in the future
